Default Any suggestions on how to improve my site?

I have two sites Coins & Coin Collecting Guide and Fundraising Guide. The coin collecting site has been much more profitable than the fundraiser site. Any suggestions on how to improve the sites?

1. You should have asked for 2 separate reviews.

2. What is with the Euro on the Fundraising site?

re: Coin Collecting - nice look all in all, AdSense seems a bit overloaded, though I for one mentally erase all such advertising these days. Same goes for ebay and the poll and Firefox ad... not really in that order, money-wise, but the site design has a clean look you have managed to clutter somewhat. On the nav, that light gray on low-contrast LCDs (which is many of them) is, well, low contrast. Rolling over to the red used in the banner would be helpful, and some spacers of one kind or another (dashes, pipes?) on the Home, News, Contact bar might be worthwhile.

Same basic notes for the fundraiser, where I would only note that the green text seems to work better, and even the one image helps break up the text wall. The font for FundRaisingGuide in the banner seems a little bit cartoonish perhaps, and agree with Dave on the Euros, not sure the red phone (is it the President?) and the obviously non-denominational and unsigned credit card work well either... the lady in the photo, which is overthinking it past anyone who visits, admittedly, looks like she is reconsidering or pondering whatever she's doing... maybe not the impression you want to give?
