I've just finished a redesign of our GirlzNight site and would appreciate any feedback and opinions, specifically on: -

1) Design
2) Ease of use/navigation
3) SEO

There are two main parts to the site, the shop and also the magazine section.

From the first look I can only say that I love its look and colors. And fits to your theme.

One thing I can tell on the fly from the SEO standpoint:

Supplemental Ratio for girlznight.co.uk: 79.15%

* Google has a total of 844 pages indexed from girlznight.co.uk
* 176 are in the main index
* 668 are in the supplemental index

There is some work seriously required.

There are sure a lot to be said. But it is just a matter when I will have time.

I love the site! Esp for the target audience.. Cant think of that many improvements except that I would suggest it would be a good idea to try to get visitors to become "members" of your site so that they come back again - rather than just readers of the newsletter and magazine - so maybe think of some teen-appealing way of personalizing the site (like allowing them to try out their fave haircut on a photo of themselves they load up to the site, and send it to all their friends to get it rated, so their friends can help them choose a style??? something like that) also, come up with some zany way of separating off the right hand content (maybe a hazy soft pink background color or something like that to set it apart??)

I would love some feedback on my site (noone replied to my post!!) eBarster - solutions for a new web - I think there are tons of things I could do to improve it..!!!

I'm working on the supplemntal issue, hopefully this incarnation of the site should help things.

I like the idea of uploading a photo and trying out different hair styles... food for thought

mishj, on the ebarster site, I would remove the meta tags (except for description) as they are causing unneccessary code clutter. Also, your title tag is not very descriptive - perhaps something like "eBarster - contextual ads supporting eBay Partner Network" would be better.

Just my two pence worth, the overall look is good but I don't like the look of the drop down box from the menu's (hair straighteners etc) looks a bit boxy.

It looks nice overall though and compares well with the other sites I had a quick look at after googling"hairdressing products" the hot brands bit is good so are the six links with photos shown at the bottom of the page.

The top of the page has quite a large empty area to the right of the logo - not sure how I would improve that but it looks a wee bit bare.

Just my initial impression.
