| Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? Hi,
My website (osCommerce Flash Tutorials and Templates) had PR5 about a year ago. By the time the website had only about 50 pages with text tutorials. I start re-writting and changing all text tutorials to video tutorials a year ago. I also adding more video tutorials to my website. However I noticed that the more video tutorials I added, the lower PR it became. The PR finally dropped to zero about three months ago. I am afraid that the Google spiders mis-taken all my video tutorials as duplicate pages, thus penalize my website to PR0 for spamming Google spiders. Could some SEO experts help to check what exactly is the problem? P.S. My another website also has the same problem - PR dropped to zero after adding about 300 video tutorials. That's why I suspect the problem may come from the video tutorials. Thanks and best regards Alex |

1. You need to make the title, description and keywords meta tags for each page unique and relevant to that page's content.
2. You need to add text to each page. By removing the text, you have removed all the data that the search engine indexers use. Add the text at the bottom of the page. You can make it smaller (6 pt) and lighter (#AAAAAA) so Google will accept it as legitimate. The text should be unique to each page. 3. Use tools such as Search Engine Spider Simulator to understand how the spiders view your pages. 4. Be patient as it will take months for your PageRank to improve.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for your information. Oh.... I have to add text below each video tutorial. This is really hard job as "a picture tells a thousand words. And a video may tells a million words!". Although the website lost the PR, it does getting much much more hits than the past. And the visitors really love it. Thanks and best regards Alex |
