It's clean, fit's nicely into 800x600 and it's quick to load which is always a good thing.

Your support page seems to be missing and you have a broken image on your hosting page.

You might consider some sort of rollover effect on the menu just to add a bit of variety.

It's a bit risky using mailto links, you're opening yourself up for spam attacks, I think you should link those to your contact form and just leave them as text on the contact us page.

You might want to add a text menu at the bottom to help the search engines find their way around and the inclusion of a sitemap would help too.

It's looking good so keep on it ;)

Tested in IE6 56k modem 800x600. Text loads nice and fast but main graphic a little slow to load. Menu graphics could do with descriptive ALT tags. Might be nice if the links changed colour when the mouse is passed over them. Otherwise, a nice design. Good luck with it.

Still need to fix the things that N30 pointed out. Nice site. Clean lay out.
No confusion as to its purpose.

Your site is an example of how "keeping it simple" is the true path to good design.

You need to increase the left margin for the text on the home page. It sits right against the edge of your dark gray boxed area.

Also, I have my screen resolution set pretty high, and it was difficult for me to read the package headings - especially the "Bronze Package." Whereas the drop shadow helped for contrast on the Gold Package, it didn't help behind the orange in Bronze... You may want to consider changing the background color of those three boxes to "call out" the packages and improve contrast.

Nice job,

Tinbox,

Your site looks good. Now you need to spend some time on your marketing. Start with your Home page.

There is little on this page that will make any impressions on your visitors. You list some nice features, but you really need to focus on the benefits of your services.

Let's step through your text one peice at a time...

"We offer 24/7/365 phone support" Why is this important to someone who needs a host? Because Tinbox representatives will be there to help with technical concerns, answer questions, and to give speedy courteous service.

"99.9% uptime" ...when people want to visit a site hosted at Tinbox, it will be there.

Dual Xeon server that provides INSTANT backups of your site" ... so you never have to worry about your site being lost or destroyed because of a server crash.

Don't assume that you visitors understand why the features you offer are important. Tell them what the benefits are to them. Otherwise your site is just another hosting site with nothing to set it apart from the thousands of other hosting sites.

nice design.. but what happened to typography.

In firefox for mac the text on the index page is 2/3 of the entire page and is justfied way left.

Even though it is the web, good typography is an intergral part of any visual layout. With CSS as the norm now, hopefully we have seen the last of text center justfied over 760 pixel tables.

Cleam, light, simple.. all very good. Go back and re-visit the type.

Howdy. =)

You've got a HUGE (well, maybe not that big, but its pretty big) blank grey space on your home page. I would suggest moving the hosting options up there so that people see that right away and are like 'wowzers!' You want them to see your product right away. Also, 24/7/365 is rather redundant to me. 24/7 implies the 365 but takes less effort to read and say aloud inside ones head. That and it looks cleaner, less daunting. :)

I would center that menu as well.

On your comparison chart, your checks and xs are too similar. I'd suggest scrapping the xs altogether, or making them green or something. Just make em stand out more. ^_^

Hope this helps!

Strike that, make the checks green and leave the xs red! ^_^
