I would like to leave my website www.torreproperties.com for a review. The site is about advertising properties for sale in Torrevieja, Spain.

I appreciate all the feedback on design, layout and functionality. Feel free to create a test account of a particular user or realestate, but please let me know, that i can delete it later.

The site uses PHP session variables (cookies) in many occasions so if you have cookies disabled please let me know if you get any errors...

I test the website with IE6 and Netscape 7.1 so feedback from users of other browsers is highly appreciated! I have had broblems e.g. on layout with IE5.5. / 800x600 resolution

I am a web-application developer - Not a graphics designer - so please give me direct feedback if something does not look professional enough!

Tested in IE6 56k modem 800x600. Graphics are very slow to load. Might be nice if the links changed colour when the mouse is passed over them like the menus. Remove the Under Construction sign as it may put people off. Otherwise, a very nice design. Good luck wih it.

I have to agree with nick about the under construction gif. It literally screams "amateur"

A couple of the images look like clip art so I would change then for something else.

Otherwise it looks fairly professional.

I agree with what you say about underconstuctions sign! For my "defense" i will say that the web-site was under maintenance during first hours of this morning. The underconstructin message did have a specific time limit attached to it. Now the sign and message are removed... I usually put it on when i do updates and stuff... quite rarely though.

What you say about changing link coulours on hover, it might be good idea especially that I dont have underlining on links.. I do some testing on that... Thanks!

N30.. Could you please define what you ment by "some images looking like clipart"? If we are talking about those features of the properties e.g. garage, garden, solarium etc.. i think they look fairly crap :) Maybe i should buy somewhere some proper icons or design on those.. I am not happy with my own "design" on those..

Oh, when you said that loading is very slow on 56k, i would assume this is VERY true on first time you appear to page as the advertisement banners are very big. However they are same on every page.. Is the loading still slow when banners etc are cached?
