SO i finaly made a web site to replace the old one.

This web site i for a small community, pointed on electronic music. This is not my first web site, i'd work @ ubisoft as a webmaster, also @ gameloft.com (making eShop with intershop) but that one is the first one all created. I'm kinda poor in photoshop, so i tried to make a web site easy for my to design (know nothing except "crop, copy, paste, cut").

So, what do you think about the site/layout.

Any good or bad comment are welcome.

For now i still have some work to do. There is only the forum and the calendar ready.

Tested in IE6 56k modem 800x600. Loads nice and fast. Might be nice if the menus rolled over like the links. Its a good start. Good luck with it.

Tested on 1024-768 & 800x600, 256k ADSL, IE6 & NS7.1

Very nice layout which seems to work well on both resolutions / browsers. Coulour scheme fits nicely and is pleasing to eye. The main body text (black on gray) might be a bit small or hard to read with high resolutions. Nothing critical but you might want to try out other fonts maybe?

A bit of a mix with english and french, ah? e.g. the poll "Quelle Section j'ajoute?". How are planning to handle multilanguage issues?

Very nice! Good luck with it.. if you feel like, please check my page www.torreproperties.com

nice, clean design.

i like the links to the latest forum threads up front. great idea. community is where it's at.

some search engines have trouble with session ids in the url. i know, i know, i have some on my site too, but if you're looking for SE areas to tweak, that may be one of them.

also, maybe add a graf of text about the site somewhere on the first screen?

all in all, though, very well done. nice job.

Tested in NS7, IE6, Opera, Mozilla 1280 x 960 and 1024 x 768 win XP Looked good in all browsers.

Your coding needs a bit of work. You declare it as HTML, but you use XHTML tags. Either way it is not even close to validating. As Html there are over 300 errors, mostly improper nesting of tags. As XHTML there are over 500 errors.

You are lucky that with all that, the page still loads the same across browsers.

Nice lay out and design, although not too sure of that shade of orange with the blue.

Good job, overall
