I'm currently hosting my site with Prostores.com and using their shopping advance shopping cart. I'm getting about 4,000 - 5,000 visitors to my site per month. Any suggestions on how I can get more visitors to my site would be great.

Fix your site you have about 100 lines of code visible to visitors above your title bar
This would be a great start.

Mike is right. Your site is showing code.

You need to use an external Style Sheet.

Fix that and come back to us.

Also You havent written what advertising techniques you have used for getting those 4000 - 5000 visitors.

Write it, So we could advise SEO, article marketing, forum marketing, social bookmarking, classified advertising etc. if you haven't tried.

Orik,

Well, for most of the vistitors that we get I would say have been mainly due to several different forums such as;
1. http://dcboards.warnerbros.com
2. PopCultureNexus :: Index
3. Marvel.com message boards :: Index

These are just some of the forums that I have used. Normally I stick with forums that directly relate to the product that we sell.

I currently use some of the shopping comparison sites such as yahoo and google. Other than these areas that I have mentioned I'm not really doing alot more due to budgets.

Doing a once over on your site. There are few on page SEO things you can do.

1. Remove all your styles and put them in a external .css file.
2. Add title tags to your text links.
3. Add alt tags to your images.
4. Add meta keywords and descriptions. Try and use your main keyword close to the beginning of the description.
5. Change your title and add your main keyword to it, close to the beginning.
6. Clean up your code.
7. Use competitive keywords in your site link URLs "BTW why do they all start with the word 'the'?"
8. Check your keyword density and make sure it is not over 2% "This is for Google" Some people range there pages from 2-5% across there site.

Off site

1. Instead of advertising on forums I would start a relevant blog. Add a link or 2 to the bottom of your blog to your site and start posting.
2. Add your products to Google product search.
3. Drop your link on Xbox live. <--- be very careful not to spam!
4. Submit to Del.icio.us.
5. Submit your site to SEO friendly directories.
there are many many more.
