Hi,

I have a new site that I have almost completed that I would really appreciate some feedback on. I am looking for all comments good and bad, I don't take offence so please be honest. I am hoping for a decent listing on Google one it has been listed and I think I have done everything correct as far as SEO is concerned, but again comments are welcome.

I am aware that the site should have been built using CSS but I am only currently learning this at the moment and I wanted to get the site off the ground, hence the table layout.

Anyway, please have a look....

Nice clean and simple bear-bones site. I would prefer to see something a little more visual. Maybe a nice slideshow of select bears.

Be more descriptive in your title. My first thought was it might be a financial directory based on the title.

I find the the dark blue colour scheme to be depressing.
The look & feel of the Forum does not fit.
Contact Us should have physical, postal data.

It needs to be "happier". I mean Teddy bears are lovable, fun.

I have to agree with all comments made so far. The idea about the slideshow is a nice one. It will have to wait until I have some proper listings but I think I will impliment this at a later date.

The colour scheme is a little grim. I was looking at this the other day and is definatly something I am looking to change.

The forum is currently an externally hosted forum that I am not at all happy with. I am currently looking for one that I can incorporate into the actual site rather than simply linking to an external provider. Any suggestions on this would be most appreciated. ASP would be the preferred language for it to be written in.

Ok I have given the site a major overhaul in the aesthetic department. It's not quite there yet but I thought I would gauge some comment before proceeding.

Ok, another major change and I think it is a whole lot better. (Thanks for the eye opener Dave). If you guys could take another look and let me know your thoughts it would be most appreciated.

Better. A pleasing brown bear color.
I noticed that some pages were wider/narrower than others. A minor annoyance.
Now, you need content.

You're on the right track now. Keep your BEARings straight.

As Dave mentioned, start cultivating that content!

Ok so it's been a little while but I've made a few changes and upgrades to the site and I do now have the beginnings of some decent content.

Any feedback on the site now would be of massive benefit.
