Well the site is obviously still under a bit of construction but I like the initianl impression.

A couple of things that I think might benefit from adjustment...

1. They grey background behind the tye dyed shirts at the top kinda distracts a bit from the impact the shirts might have on a less patterned background (IMO)

2. The current text on the home page is a variety of sizes, colours & weights... too many IMO. Try stick to one heading, on standard paragraph and one "emphasis" style. The hardest paragraph is the blue on with some black text, and some bold blue in the middle. It put me off reading the content.

Good Luck, Tania

Howdy. :)

I agree with removing or lessening the pattern in the header, I think that would improve the 'viewing experience' a lot.

Right now as a divider between the main content and your copyright notice you are using a table. You could easily do this with a one line <hr size="1" color="#000000" /> tag that would achieve the same effect for less page size, which means you save bandwidth, and we all loooove bandwidth. :) On that divider, I would also suggest making it as wide as your header image is wide. I think that would look much nicer. ^_^

In your header, where you have the text after ::, I kind of think that for some reason that should be links. Not that it is or actually should be, but the way it is set up, its almost as if there should be a menu there. Understand what I'm saying? I didn't see your actual menu until I moused over what wasn't your menu. ;)

This is just my personal opinion, it's likely this doesn't matter, but I like having all menu items displayed, so that the menu doesn't change and you have to 'rememorize' it every time you go to a different page. Just make the current page a different color menu item?

Dunno, I like the baby. ^_^ Cute stuff.

Hope this helps. :)

Default Great Job!

Hi!
I'm new here so I won't go into too many opinions (since my site is only about 6 months old and I’m sure needs some work) but I think your site looks fantastic! I love the vibrant colors and the ability to view some of your tie dyes on the first page. I don't think the header is too big (but I'm no expert). I do think that where it says "Quality tie dye clothing for baby" and then lists t-shirts, onesies, dresses, etc... these should be links. Can't wait to check back and see how you set up your store. If you need any help, don't hesitate to e-mail me. I have an online tie dye store (which is doing really well so far) so may be able to give you some tips.
Good luck!

the e-com portion of the site is now open. The client really pushed to get it up, so not everything is finished. missing icons here or there.
