Default www.AllReminder.com

Review my website http://www.allreminder.com/index.php.
I have spent a lot of time on this website by almost re-writing phpnuke code to make it search engine friendly but struggling to get a PR. This is my first project and more of a learning phase .
thanks

What a neat and useful site - I've bookmarked it!

Overall: Easy to navigate, pleasant to read, nice unobtrusive color schemes, subtle with the ads, well organized, useful content.

Quibble: A little bit slow to load even on a broadband connection, but you might want a few more people to try this out and see if it is a general problem.

Thank you very much for your compliment . Im in the process of improving performance . One of a reason because of home page uses amazon XML .try refreshing two or three times and see the difference.

Why my home page http://www.allreminder.com and http://www.allreminder.com/index.php has two different google PR ?
Thanks

I like the site alot. Very easy to navigate and use. Also looks very professional...

Only thing I would change is the four curves near the bottom of the page. I think if they were all corners, It would match up with the top and look more professional...

Remember, just my opinion.

Howdy. :)

A couple o' things.

I think that the logo in the upper left corner looks kind of pixilated? You could pretty easily make it look smoother, I think. Also, the outline of that logo are running into the text, which is of the same color. You should avoid that.

Also, it was not immediately clear to me what your site actually does. Which can be kind of a problem. ;) Though, it is likely I'm just a dumb person. =D

Hope this helps.

Photoshop it, of course! :)

To avoid a lengthy explanation of how to, as the tutorial I learned it from said, make those 'nasty burgers' into 'smooth burgers' lol, sorry, fond memories. ;) I'll simply do it for ya. I know, I'm taking the cheap mans way out.

Ok. How about I do it and explain it to you?

First off, you have it saved as a GIF. You should only use GIFs where you know you need transparency or where there arn't many colors. (Thats the rule of thumb I go by) JPEGs give better quality due to their better compression methods and etc. So first step is to decide which you need.

Now that I think about it, you only want a few colors and its going to be on a white background, so a GIF would likely be a smaller file size for you, though the difference would be minimal. (JPEGs don't like large blocks of a single color, btw)

Ok. So. Now that I think about it more, it would be nice if you had a logo, some simple shape or design, that a user can easily connect with your site...

I know, I'm being very unorganized and redundant. So to get this post over with, I'll just post some random little thing I came up with. ^ ^;;

(This is what I got, it really shows how much I suck at drawing in Photoshop, heck, in general)

Light bulb is just kinda what I think of when I see 'all reminder'.

Ok. Gotta go. Hope this helps. :)
