site looks grate except for the header. I'd change the size of the font in the header right (contact info) to a pixel or two smaller one and make it bold. Also try removing the stripes in header top and make it a nice and neat single color.

All in all one of better web designs I've seen here in reviews lately.

You also might wish to add some border or shadow to your design.

Also in SEO terms, you lack of some meta keywords and meta description

Mamoon,

(Busy...as if a presidential candidate is assassinated every day. We in the USA feel for your country.)

- large gray block of text with the word Home in it. What?
- white text on a black background. Black on white is so much easier to read.
- font size under the chef's photo is too small to read easily.

+ layout
+ coding

,dave

I don't really feel the purple-ish header colours match the rest of the layout...may want to revisit that.

I don't think you're really grasping the unordered list as a menu concept either. Why do you have each list item as a seperate list, all contained in a div? You could simply have it all as one list on it's own, div-free.

Also, maybe have the menu list items resize to contain the text so it's not hanging over the bottom.

All-in-all, not too bad...light on the markup, heavier on the copy which is nice.

Hey Mamoon,

a couple of sites that should help you better grasp the 'list' concept:

Listamatic, Alistapart.

After looking at your CSS, it seems you're overthinking the list-as-a-menu thing: You have really complicated it for what you need it to do.

I hope those resources help.
