Need More Appealing Website

My website ranks very well in the search engines. It passes validation for the W3C website. It ranks 10/10 for link check, 9/10 for html check, 1/10 for load time? and I get a lot of hits everyday. However, my website is not very eye appealing.

Did someone mention that your website was bad? I have seen many successful websites that looked much worse than yours.

That being said here are my opinions:

maybe you can have less text on your homepage and a better call to action. I get a little lost with what I am supposed to do.
You may also want to reconsider the header of your site, it seems a little busy with three separate images and all of the content. I like clean crisp sites with a well defined call to action but that is just me.
The background color is pretty bright, maybe a different shad of blue to help the content of the page pop out.

You're right, your site is not very eye appealing. If I were in your place, I would spend time perusing sites like Cool Home Pages to find site looks and layouts that I like; then I would approach several Indian outsourcers and get them to make a stab at redesigning my site along the lines of some others that I like. Most will create a sample for you gratis, in hopes that you will like it and pay them for it. Many are very affordable.
