I have created one site last week only and still going with the design process. I’m not a designer but yes I’m aware of bit of design (this is what I think). So, please review my and let me know how to improve my site. For all the reason, like look and fast loading time, better ranking.

my advise. be more subtle with your ads. A lot more subtle. so subtle that nobody notices they are there until after they find out what the web page is about.

It really is terrible.

I did not see the adverts (thanks to Adblock Plus under Firefox) until I disabled the blocking. Whoa! Talk about "in your face". No thanks.

I would:
1. Change your domain name to FreeLawInfoDownload.com
2. Increase the leading in the paragraphs to improve readability.
3. Run spell check. "Top Issuee" is not correct.
4. Run link checking. For example, this page http://www.freeinfodownload.com/contactus.php does not exist.
5. Fix your meta tags. For example: seems incorrect to me.
6. Stop stealing content from Attorney, legal aid, lawsuits, civil law, bankruptcy

You have two horizontal google banners, a google link ad and a 300x300 google ads box all above the fold. Lose at least two of them, probably the 728x90 banner and the google link ad for sure.

You have to get someone fluent in english to rewrite this. It is clear that person is not you.

"Word of mouth referrals and ads posted in magazines and directory (directories) simply confirm the lawyer is affluent enough to pay for the cost of the advertisements". (are you serious here? This is the crux of any business, I am an attorney and I make my living off of word of mouth referrals, further, they are not paid for)

"We would advise you to spend little time while filling the column where we have requested you for a brief description" - Horrible. You want the person to spend little time filling in a form? I would want them to spend the right amount of time presenting all of the facts to the attorney.

This sort of thing goes on in every paragraph on the site. Very bad english.

Finally, WOW, promoting a legal based site that is chalk full of stolen content and copyright infringement? Smart move.

I am no expert designer,
I create pages by simply aranging everything I want the visitor to see, with everything I need to get them to make a response. when I am happy that my user understands what I am offering. I then fill in the gaps with related content that any visitors might usefull (yes a google ad is O.K. but not in the users face.)

I try hard to create an image of a busy site with evidence of plenty of users. . nobody buys from an empty store.

Webproword, can get away with having ads load before content. . but you will not get away with it until you have gained the sort of user confidence that WPW has earned.

Always make your page look sincere. . If you wish to create an image, simply make it one image. you cannot succesfully atract users to your site with a topic of legal advice - and have an ad for greencards, sticker shops

That text is crap. . .it does not even attempt to sell anything. It realy will not tempt anyone. Just about any text you can think of would work better. even

Ganguly, you realy do need to consider the possibility that a visitor to your site could be an intelligent person who is looking for something specific. . you have a single screen to tell them they have arrived at the right place. give them enough confidence to take the next step. . filling out a form is a big ask for a first time visitor. .

You are competing with the whole world . . get serious. . . or quit now...

What I see is an attempt to make a ad-sense site with stolen content. That aside you have a few things that really stick out that I would like to point out to you.

1. Your site name. Not really sure I would stay with the Freeinfodownload. The Free download hit me wrong. The first thing that comes into mind is free software downloads, free mp3 downloads etc. not legal help.
2. I have a 21" monitor running at 1024x768 and I have scroll bars on the bottom. Big turn off. Make your page narrower. I make all my pages to fit on a 800x600 setting if the page does not auto resize, but that's just me.
3. I found many broken links. A few are listed here.

4. Put your ad sense ads on the sides or bottom, not in the middle of your content and do not have more ads than content.
5. You're trying to sell a service "on a free info site" and your sending everyone away once they click a ad. If the page has free info, then don't try and sell a service. Make the money of off ad-sense or cut down on the ads and sell your service.
6. Let's say I wanted to use your service. How can I call you or contact you at all? Your contact us does not work. How do you receive your payment? Do you accept credit cards, paypal? If you accept credit cards, is your site hacker safe? "Seal from ScanAlert" What I'm getting at is why should I trust you?


It is my guess that you're not an attorney and you do not know the law "from the copyright content you took", but you want to help people find a lawyer for a fee on a free site? I'm confused. You're site can and will make you money. You have to figure out if it will be from your service or from ads.

I just finished doing some analysis of Google AdWords campaigns for two different customers. In both cases, the conclusion was, AdSense sites (that is, advertising on the Content Network) are a complete waste of money.
