| Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate. |

http://www.accelerate-weight-loss.com is the second website, first e-commerce site, I’ve built. It’s been up for a little over a month. PPC traffic will sign up for the free report, but do not buy. Is the problem the content or the site? I would appreciate any advice on copy writing or site design.
Thank you in advance[/url] |

Tested in IE6 56k modem 800x600. Loads reasonably fast. Might be nice if the links and menu's changed colour when the mouse is passed over them. Menu graphics could do with some ALT tags. Otherwsie, a very nice design. Good luck with it.

Maybe a few testimonials would help. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with the site visually, but weight loss supplements are a funny thing, you know? What distinguishes your products from all the other glut of weight loss supplements on the market? It is a good looking site.

I like the general look, top-left area.
However... Your pages are pretty long, especially the home page, an astounding 8 pages! You're going to give wheel-mouse users like me, carpal-tunnel syndrome in the index finger. Your home page, a compilation of bold claims, big promises, highlighted testimonials and bolded exclamations ... reads like a carbon-copy of all the get-rich quick, marketing sites out there. The type of sites, people are ignoring. You have a small novel on your home page. Do you really expect people to read the entire page? Quote:
Your home page is the most important... But, it doesn't entice anyone to buy, so they won't Lots o' hype, but no bite |

I seem to have a problem reaching a compromise between hype and being clinically dry. The site owner originally wrote what sounded like a nutrition text book, on how the supplements interact for a successful program, and visitors would leave within seconds. I asked what was possible, and what she could substantiate and came up with the current copy. Visitors stay longer and even roam around, but alas no sales. Could you point to some specifics as to what is too much hype? I would like to tone it down.
