The design isn't too bad but I don't think that's your primary concern... What is the site about?

This site looks more like either a adwords site or a site with adwords and content. Are you trying to be a myspace or I am not sure what. Sorry to be so brutal. Your only pictures are of one person. Is that you? Tone it down.

Oh and the thing that stopped me from really looking around was not all the ad of things you were trying to sell, but your logo.

Its “You're” and there is no space between the "e" and the apostrophe. Also you have the apostrophe backwards. That jumped right out at me.

Looks like you have a nice start on a social networking site (ala MySpace or Facebook), but if that's your competition you need to make clear what your "niche" is - why should people join your network instead of the other two? You might want to move the About Us section up to the top, so people can more easily find what your site is about - setting up custom contests and quizzes, for which people might charge (I don't recommend charging - there's already too much free out there). Maybe you want to make the Nigeria tie-in stronger - to give Nigerians their own Facebook, through which they can communicate with each other as well as people around the world? That would help you localize the content some. As Michael points out, you should fix your logo - typos will affect your credibility.
