Default Your Opinion on Vertical Menu Effects

Hi,

I'd like your opinion of a side menu navigation rather than the website.

The demo from the publisher is at Dynamic Drive CSS Library- SuckerTree Vertical Menu (v1.1)

Assume the average consumer with average skills navigating Internet sites.
Assume a vertical menu with 8-10 primary selections and every one has a secondary menu that shows with about 3-6 selections.

1 - Is this too confusing for customers to select the secondary menu that pops up to the right?

2 - Is the secondary menu unfriendly with a rollover effect that disappears when the mouse moved?

3 - Any other thoughts?

Thank you.

I think it is fine.

My preference is to use the Milonic menu from JavaScript DHTML Website Popup Menu - Free for Non-Profits even though it costs money ($48 USD).

I find their tech support to be fabulous.

I like it and have seen it done enough that would not think it would be a problem for anyone.

I'd say a primary and secondary menu, fine, but a third fly-out would be too much. Works in Safari.
