| Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate. |

I just recently started working for a company called Grooveshark. I'm coming onboard sort of late in the game, in terms of the site is already a huge mass of code and I haven't had any input in getting it to where it is today. It seems to me that there is a lot of improvement to be made in the site design, and I have made a lot of suggestions, but here is the thing:
User feedback > PHP programmer feedback. They make things the users complain about a priority, the things developers complain about tend to get put on the back burner. So...I'd like you guys to check it out and give *them* some feedback through the feedback form. Please feel free to post your criticisms here as well, but if the complaints are coming through me it won't make much of a difference. Grooveshark.com. As an added incentive, I have 5 $5 cards. If you promise promise promise to give feedback, I'll scratch off a code and give it to you (as long as you are an active webproworld user). Just make sure you don't register for a GS account before I give you the code as you can't get credit once you've already signed up. |

Sorry for taking so long to reply. For some reason I didn't get a notification that you had responded.
I was afraid that the free $5 would make my request look suspicious and it looks like you're right, since nobody took me up on the offer. I'm not some sketchy sales guy trying to recruit people to the site or anything, I'm a PHP programmer and the codes aren't linked to me in any way, I've just been giving them out to friends and stuff. I figured that in order to fully test the site it would be good to have some "money" to "spend" so you can get the full user experience. If anyone feels like checking it out but *not* using my signup codes that's perfectly fine too, they just won't get the money to spend on music downloads. |
