Hi, Carrie,
Welcome to the forum!
First off, I would go to a free keyword tool such as:
Free Search Term Suggestion Tool by KeywordDiscovery.com and see what people are searching in your area .. I found some searches for pensacola landscaping and for pensacola landscape pavers ... there might be other related phrases I didn't think of ...
Then change your title tag to the phrase you decide to target ... or at least to "Reliable Pensacola Landscaping' ... because there is marketing value in using 'reliable' ...
And replace "about us" heading on the home page with a real headline ... something like Count On Pensacola's Reliable Landscaping Team ... and put it in h1 tags ...
Links! Submit your site to relevant directories ... DMOZ, try Jayde ... there must be some in your area. Are you a member of the Chamber of Commerce ... ask for a link from them.
Perhaps you have some friends with local businesses? You might convince some of them to give you a link from their websites ... ask them to use your keyword phrase in the anchor text ... perhaps 'Reliable Landscaping of Pensacola.' Or put up a links page and see who will trade links with you. Despite what some people say, relevant link trades
are useful - with search engines and for traffic. One way links might be better, but when one Key West fishing site trades links with another, both sites benefit. Try trading links with other landscape companies around the state or just over the border.
I would guess that your keyword phrases are not too competitive ... there are only 3 ads on Google for 'pensacola landscaping' ... so sign up for Adwords and put some ads up ... use more than one ad and see which works best ... use your keyword phrase as the headline, too ... people tend to click on the ads that have the exact term they searched ... oddly enough. ;D Try Yahoo, too ... even at the lower end of the bidding you should be able to drive some targeted traffic with pay per click advertising ...
Best wishes! Let us know how it goes, please.
