No "real" contact info. Why am I nervous?

Very generic-looking site. Bland.

Agree with bland, but consider Google. Anyway, it is not clear what the "Web Master" link is all about, some explanation there would be nice. To me the "How it works" explanation needed some work. I didn't like the distribution of links. The "About us" and the "Projects" links should probably be at the top. Maybe a little more explanation on the first page what the site is about.

I am not sure what the advantage of this site would be from what I saw. My first impression was not good. On your response to registration what does "Click here to back" mean? Also on the registration "Zip" is a US thing, if you want international registrations change this to "Postal Code". On the keywords page, no explanation of what "RAC", "GAC" etc.. are. Clicking on keywords goes to 404 page.

I second dmadance.

As a user, I went to your website. I find myself interested in ASP projects but couldn't find the project link in the first shot (if its there). I didn't bother and though to try the search link. It gave me exact results I wanted. But I was not happy with the limitation of no. of projects per page. Then I clicked on a project to view its details but got the message login required to view details. I immediately clicked the X button of the browser.

I am certainly happier with getafreelancer and elance and more happy to invest my time on them due to comfortable and easier navigation nature, I would say common-sense design. You need to work according to the user's common sense on your website.

My 2 cents...

Khurram.

Its vital according to Users as well as SE point of view that you should open details for unregistered users. So if the users find it interesting enough, they will find the register link themselves. You don't have to redirect them there. For SEs, it will give you the benefit of them indexing your project details page as well.

HTH,

Khurram.
