Viewed your website at 56k 1024X768 and there were no issues.
Spelling: In your menu West Web Studio missIOn

The top logo/banner area is a little much. Half of the page at this resolution is the banner. The menu gets hard to read over the man raising his arms.

From where the content begins to the bottom everything looks great. I like the seperation of your main content and supporting content(on the right). Colors are not an eyesore and the text is easy to read.

I don't know if xml has this covered but I think you might want to ad meta tags to your code. At least use the description and keywords.

I noticed this was your first post - Welcome to WebProWorld! :o)

I have to agree with pretty much everything Gamut_man has to say above. I think I could probably fit my whole site into your banner area (memo to self.. get a bigger site!). In addition to the mission typo.. your introductory sentence should read "Design - is a matter of taste" to be grammatically correct.

Yours was a site I really wanted to like.. it has much to recommend it! The clear determination to adhere to good coding standards was refreshing to see.. as well as your obvious talent for photography and graphics. You've even added one of my favourite articles (by Jeffrey Veen).. as well as the contribution from our very own Janeth Duque!

My main advice would be to try and condense your pages.. some are very long indeed.. and having visitors scrolling too much is not a good thing. So all in all, you have the makings of a very nice site with just a little re-jigging of that layout!
