| Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate. |

Hi there,
I dont know if I have posted this site before.. but I worked hard on this site... so please give me your comments so I can improve it more. The site URL is American Personal & Private Chef Institute & Association - Professional Personal Chef Training Waiting for your feedback. Thanks!!!!!!! |

I wouldn't expect any substantive feedback without a task list. For example, set up a dummy account. Next set tasks like...
"Find out when the [dummy subscriber name] membership is going to expire." What are the top five things users do on the site? Getting opinions on the logo and color scheme from a forum post isn't going to tell you this. You want a dummy account so evaluators can, for example, put a purchase into the shopping basket and go through the checkout procedure. Having people take a quick peek isn't going to reveal much on a site with any depth. |

Thanks for your comments.. and I am not sending any one to any third party sites.. every website linked on this ...is ...APPCA's own site.. like personalchefmall.com personalchefhosting.com personalchefsearch.com personalcheftraining.com personalchefsummit.com personalchefmedia.com personalchefnews.com
all part of the personal chef portal...that I built and now maintain it |

Is it really necessary to link to those sites on every page? In addition, Just clutters up the site, IMO

Nice site, everything flows together well. As for the comments on the other site links, it does contribute to clutter, maybe combine them in a drop-down with your menu on the left? Initial impression is information overload, but what you have does work.

I like it alot, except I can't determine a clear purpose for the site upon arrival. Its a bit confusing. I mean I understand that it is an assoc. but my thought is... I dont' know where to go first...
I do have two comments: I would save the address for a "contact us" page. Also the "last updated" info...Who's benefitting from seeing that information? I haven't seen that on a page since like '97. Keep up the good work. |
