+ Soothing color scheme.
+ OK design. + Easy navigation. - Title tag is too long and all wrong. You Have: Welcome to www.SpineCarePro.com, Stuart A. Firsten, DC Doctor of Chiropractic, Novi, Michigan, Helping You Feel Your Best, Oakland County. This means that Google will display: Welcome to www.SpineCarePro.com, Stuart A. Firsten, DC Doctor of .... "Welcome to " is a waste because it tells me nothing. "www.SpineCarePro.com" is a waste because it is displayed 2 lines below the title. "A." is a waste because your middle initial is not important and there is only one "Stuart Firsten" on all of Google. (There are a lot more Dave Barnes for sure.) "DC" is a waste because you tell me what it is in the next 3 words. So, try this title and see how it looks at Google: Relief. Chiropractic. Naturally. Dr. Stuart Firsten Novi Michigan. Benefit + important info. - Description tag is too short. Google will display another 7 words. Don't repeat your title in your description. Make the description provide ADDITIONAL info to the reader. - Get rid the day/date in the upper left corner. I know what day it is and I am not visiting your website because I don't own a calendar. - Ditch the " Welcome to the online home of ". Duh, I know it is not your physical location. You have the same problem with: " Welcome to www.SpineCarePro.com Please explore our website." And, this: "Please explore our website". Get to the benefit right away. Tell my why you are the best and how you can help me. - Look at you website on a large 24-inch monitor with the browser window set to maximum. You won't like what you see. The human eyeball does not track wide lines of text easily. - This: img src="picts/spacer.gif"alt="Stuart A. Firsten, DC, Chiropractor, Chiropractic, Doctor of Chiropractic, Novi, West Bloomfield, Farmington Hills, Farmington, Commerce Township, Walled Lake, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Oakland County, Back pain, Low back pain, Neck pain, Headache, Headaches, Pain, Disc decompression, Adjustment, Spinal adjustment, Spine Care" is keyword stuffing. The appropriate alt tag value for spacer is "". Yes, empty.

Nice site! It would be helpful for your patients to include reading material you create and post on your site (so they don't navigate away from your site). So articles about different back conditions and treatments, etc. Not only is this great to drive traffic, but also you can get linkbacks if people enjoy reading this material you offer. Good luck!

Hello,
Overall your site serves it's purpose. I agree with most of what "David Barnes" posted earlier, but there are some deeper issues to discuss from an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) stance. One of the things that David pointed out is the "Alt" tag keyword stuffing!! I'm sure you're getting docked for this. If the image relays nothing, then don't bother. I know that if you run you're site through a test to see if it is compliant it will say that you need these alt tags, but you do not need them for "spacer.gif". The fact of the matter is that who ever designed you're site is behind in the times. I'm not trying to be negative or beat down on you're designer, but lets face facts. In this day and age of web design if you aren't using CSS for you're padding and margins then you are a novice at best. To take it a step further... Google doesn't even look at alt tags anymore, and Google is the search engine we are all trying to please. If you do well with Google then the rest will fall into place more often than not. The most important thing you need to worry about is content and links!! Not just any content and links, but content and links that are relative to your business. Try to get links from online directories that cater to you're business. The more the better! As far as content goes... you're designer has not applied any <h> tags that I can see and you're most important content is at the bottom of the page (below the fold). You should apply a style to you're <h> tags using CSS and then rework you're content so that the keyword rich content is near the top of the page or at least above the fold (viewable without having to scroll down) Make the headers in your content short and simple with you're most important keywords or keyword phrases embedded in your <h1> tags that you have assigned a style to in you're external style sheet. I could go one forever really, but between what David has told you and what I have written here you should improve you're site dramatically. One last thing though, in the content below the headers (<h> tags) make sure that you "bold" the top 3-5 keywords or keyword phrases that you have listed. Google will look at these and immediately know that they are of importance. Then Google will use these keywords and keyword phrases to judge you're external AND internal links for relevancy. Hope this helps. Best Wishes - Ed saxmanwebdesign@yahoo.com |

Get rid of
This Page is Under Construction The page you requested will be available soon. Thank you for patience while we build our new website. Please check back in the near future. Put it up only when you finished. Do you really think those links are going to serve a purpose? Do you expect employers to see your page for advise? Design is good. |

I agree with Dave Barnes too.
The site looks professional and is better than many chiropractic sites I've seen. The text on many of the pages seem "dense". Even on a 17" screen, there are long line lengths and not much white space. It's informative, but not interesting to read. There's nothing here that tells me why I should choose your services over any of your competitors. Marketing experts suggest that you should "know your customers pain" and show them how you can solve their problems. Your potential customers are literally in pain! Make sure they know that you understand that and can solve the problem. Testimonials might be good too. Figure out who your audience is and find a writer who can rewrite the basic material to speak to that audience. If you are looking for good search results, find and writer with web experience. Also if you are looking for search results, make sure you list good geographic terms. You mention Novi and Oakland County. Are there other town names you are targeting? If they aren't mentioned on your site, you won't be found if someone types in "chiropractor name of town". You can add a small service area section to the bottom of several pages or even a few town names in the footer of your page.

the white on black side bar with the grey (spine?) hard to read and not attractive. If you want contrast, rather see a vibrant color on white background than black on white
