Hi everybody
I am owner and handling my website from last four years and now come to conclusion that i need to block ip address of computers of certain areas where i feel that visitors from that area are not purchasers but competitors.So how can i do this by using ASP.Our hosting server is Win 2K.

Don't know anything about .asp, but you can achieve the result via your .htaccess file. Having said that, anyone with half a brain would be able to circumvent IP blocking. I think the real answer is that your website is either available to the internet at large, or it isn't.

i have made .htaccess file but it is not working.Can you tell me how can it work with my hosting server which is win 2000

"your website is either available to the internet at large, or it isn't" is correct.
