Default www.beerforsoldiers.com - Can anyone check out my site?

I am very new at this, and I am not sure if I am even in the right section. Everyone here seems to have kick butt job's on their websites and they all look great! But I stumbled across this site and have posted a couple of posts the wrong way I guess. I would appreciate any feedback you may give me on my website. Please use my email. I will reciprocate, or return the favor. I love surfing and checking out great sites! Thank you very much!!

I guess in the current political environment a lot of people are nervous about saying anything that could be preceived as "pro war".

Putting aside personal feelings regarding the politics of war, this forum is about site reviews so lets focus on that... after all that is what we are here for!

I like the lighthearted nature of it, and the touches like the deliberately misspelt "Lush Night Photos" was a good move.

The style and layout were neat and well implemented. I liked the use of the red & blue in the word soldier in the header. I kinda wondered if since the subheadings on the nav bar were red, perhaps changing the rollover effect to blue might work better...

I'm not sure what the photo of the girl at the bottom of the home page was for... I assume she is just there for "colour"

Speaking of which the only other thing I noticed in my short trip by was the text content colour was light yello on one page, a bit of green on another, and then a darker yellow on a third. I didn't get past that (it is late here) but I would suggest deciding which works best (myhint...not the gren) and sticking with it.

Best of luck
Tania

Default Wow- Your site is incredible!

Tania
First, Thank you for visiting my site and giving me your feedback. I took your advice. I know it will make a huge difference! I am very grateful.
Now, WOW! I am not worthy!LOL Your www.masterpeace.com.au, is just that, a masterpiece. It is fabulous! I loved the look and the ease of navigation. It is very pleasing to the eye. A few sites I have been to, are just Urgh, Yuck you know, but yours is delicious! I am not web savvy enough yet to critique your site with any great credibility, but I did like it very much.
A bit of negative for ya, I noticed one thing on your site that I have a personal distaste in; I hate those tracker buttons! Luckily I use a webhost company that allows me to view my stats just by typing stats into my browser. I am not sure how you can get around that button but it doesn't match your site at all. Your site is way to incredible for that annoying looking button. It must bug you too!
I love your work and it was a pleasure to visit.
I hope this helps little. Thank you again.

Hi Dale,
Sorry it took so long to get back to you I got a little tied up.

I like the site.

The red on black is a little hard to read but other then that great site.

I do think you need more pictures.

I will see if I can get you some Colombian girls at a party to let me take some pictures and send to you.

Darn I guess that means I will have to go to a party.

Default We need Columbian girls photos A.S.A.P

Hello Janeth,

Thank you very much for looking at my site! You're right I do need more photos, Columbian girls would make my site incredible! See what you can do. LOL
As far as the red on the black, I do not know what else to do, I am trying to stay with our red white and blue patriotic theme. I have tried other colors and just was not happy. I am in the beginning stages of the site and my guys are ecstatic about it! So we will work on acquiring some more photos for our website especially the fan section so feel free to send any our way. I see almost everyone has some kind of flashy banner that promotes their site..what do you think about flashy banners? Should I create one? Thank you again for dropping by. My guys said to tell you Columbian girls ROCK!

Thanks Dale,

It is always nice to get positive feedback, but I have to say my first sites were not so "eye pleasing"...
