I just wanted to see what you guys think of this.

There is only one page so far but I just want your general impression.

Looks a bit grey to me - needs more colour. Slightly too wide for 800x600. Otherwise, looks good. Good luck with it.

Some people love the colour scheme, while others do not. Grrrrrrr.

I have changed the width to fit 800*600 so it should work fine when I get round to uploading it. I had the width at 800 but stupidly forgot about the scrollbar. Duh.

I can't say I'm one of the people that love the gray, it's just two monotone.

Erm.... that would be "too monotone".

Anyway, the whole point of the site is I'm developing a new forum software. I'm trying to make it the most customisable out there. This means that people will be able to create any look they want.

I know this is a big claim, but I'm willing to invest a lot of time and effort into this.

I like the lay out and look but agree on playing with the colors a little more.

I viewed it on 56K at 1024X768 and it looks great.

I really like the direction you're going.

You may want to put the 'login' area at the top. If you get a few topics for General or Reviews it'll be pushed off the screen and people will have to scroll down to find the login.

Customizable colors, custom logo...very nice.

Could be a great idea for business subscriptions per user. Online project management and update resource...many possible implimentations.

Great work so far. Would like to see it functional.

EDIT: You can manipulate the size of the text boxes per the font-size attribute in CSS. Example:

.form { font-size: 9px;}

Then give the form elements class=form .

There are no topics shown on the screen. General Discussion, Off Topic etc. etc. are the actual forums. General and Reviews are the catagories.

I tried putting the login form at the top but the text boxes are too large and it distorts the page. Is there anyway you can customise the size of the text boxes height wise?

The thing I am proud about is the fact that there are currently no images yet it still looks good. This means it loads very quickly. Of course, the people who use this may want to add more images, but that's their choice.

I think I have nearly completed the design of the site so then I can get onto the real coding.
