Default Site Review - Menus.co.nz - Looking for feedback

Hi,

A few months back we re-launched our website Menus.co.nz (www.menus.co.nz) with a new user interface.

So far the response from clients has been excellent but I would really like some feedback from web professionals like yourselves.

Any thoughts on aesthetic design and functionality would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Michael Scantlebury

Tested in IE6 and Mozilla 56k modem 800x600. Loads nice and fast although the graphics are a little slow to load. Not immediately obvious where you have to click to get into the site. Looks the same in both browsers. A very nice design. Good luck with it.

Overall look is goos, but as above clicking is not obvious. I would bump up type size to increase readability.

Once inside navigation can be figured out without much trouble. There is, of course, no rating of the restaurants. There is no attempt at listing, for instance, the top ten restaurants for Wellington.

The sample menus and available descriptions are nicely done. If the response from clients is good, stick with it. I would suggest having those clients use the site under observation, accomplishing a task.
