It is FAQs (plural) and not FAQ's (possessive).

Bright yellow hurts my eyes.

The quality of the most of the logos (business cards) is poor.

You need desription and keyword meta tags.

First, things I like--

I like the name YabbaDaddaNews-- it's catchy.

I like the videos that are posted for each club-- videos really grab my attention.

I like the concept-- a great idea that can benefits businesses, nonprofits, and consumers.

Constructive criticism:

The tabs on the top (homepage, kid zone, etc) are a good idea... I'd make them a little bigger because I didn't see them at first.

I don't like the drop downs. On the homepage, you've only got 6 regions... I'd make them buttons instead.

Also, the "drop down and scroll to find your non-profit on the list" isn't too easy either-- again, I'd go for buttons or text links.

Your "calendar of events" seems bare. I see tons of web sites that post similar calendars and they're always either out-of-date or there are no events listed. I think you should just write out the events in the text and post them.

It took me awhile to figure out how the "Go shopping" thing worked. I guess you don't really know what you're doing until you click the "Go shopping" link. Try this instead-- When someone chooses a non-profit and goes to the video screen, you might post pictures and links and that say something like, "Bakers' Dozen Doughnuts Gift Certificate -- Proceeds Benefit Swartz CreekBand Boosters" THis makes it more obvious how the fund-raising works...instead of making them click "Go shopping" to see what they can purchase.

Most of the regions don't have any non-profits listed in there. Maybe you could offer a free non-profit posting to a few places to a) get the word out and b) make sure that each region has at least one.

A lot of info coming at you!

The words in the banner at the top look a little lost in the background & I actually thought that that was you/your logo at first; could you put your logo on the top left, & the ad-banner beside that to the right?? You want people to recognise that it is your Site first...

If you had less font types, or smaller fonts in the Ads, it wouldn't seem as though all that information was fighting each other. &, if the Ads were a little smaller, then your main copy would not need so much scrolling down; but could you split this main page of text into smaller amounts & place on different pages? An About Us page, a Contact page (couldn't see that)...

I truly did love your Salsa Website!!
Good luck

Thanks Frocked!
The Yabba site is building and maturing as we go.
I'm a little torn on your praise of the Make Fresh Salsa Quick and Cheap! site. I set it up on a whim with the audio, but never completed the "satisfied customer" section. I actually have a Mexican friend who will give my salsa praise.
The reason I'm torn, is I was about to toss it out and start over. You may be the only one to give me a thumbs up on it! I'm really glad you like it though... my son did the Flash work.
All the best,
Dave

I like the name a lot.

But do not like the way the page layout changes. On the home page you have the little header at the top and the business cards on the right but on the rest of the site those things disappear.

Since it is a news site why not have the latest events on the home page instead of the text about the site?

Make the banner ads a little smaller and set the site up so you can see the options to shop on the site. You could even cut into the news story whit the ads.

Maybe even add a little video and some pictures of the area into the site.

I would add your contact information into the header so when someone finds the site that can also find out how to get in touch with you.

Your site is good... but there's just one thing that I notice when I opened your site, it's the FAQ's thing... Please change it to FAQs...
