Default viral site review

hi... we've just launched a cheeky little viral www.tonysleavingcard.com to essentially see if we can get the people of britain to sign Tony Blairs e-leaving card...

It's doing pretty well in the first few days, but we want to turbo charge the viral aspects of this...i think the idea is good, but the execution of it is lacking a little

Suggestions please...

Many thanks

Paul

Hi cnp425,

The best way would be to go on one of the UK blogs to get it noticed. Probably the wrong place here.

Actually, WebProWorld has several thousand members from the UK ... so we are not a bad place to put the word out!

I suggest adding links to social media sites so people can do things like Digg it. If you have a budget you might try a link campaign by urlwire.com or put out your own press release on PRNewswire.com.

For Google purposes, you should also use the full name Tony Blair a few times instead of just Tony.

Send personalized emails to UK focused blogs and websites explaining what you are doing would probably also work to get some mentions and links.

Good luck.

I notice you have no "email to a friend" feature -- de rigueur for viral.

Er, based on the comment above, and the link I was all set to "digg" it for you without the need for a Digg button on the site itself, but got a 404!
Nuff said.
