1. You have sales at leevolvojaguarvolvo.com when the domain name is actually leevolvojaguar.com

2. I HATE the sound.

3. I am not in love with white text on a dark background given the average age of Volvo and Jag buyers.

4. I expected to be able to click on the logo to go home.

ditch the tunes, or turn them WAY down...almost to the point of not hearing them.

I agree about the music, it took me awhile to find the icon to mute it. Maybe default to no music, but still give the option to hear it.

Didn't hear the sound as I have sound muted on the computer - just like my cell/mobile phone!!

I love the look and feel and the white on dark works for me. Don't know what the age profile for Jags and Volvos in the US is but as a prime target for both in the UK I think the site is attractive and captures the quality feel of the product.

And what's more, the site validates and is based on CSS - so everything cool there. Only thing I would suggest is have the JavaScript off page (nothing new there from me).

Well done

Ian
PS Just switched up the sound - yuck not very inspiring. Ditch

I agree - always hate sound on a website, especially when I'm already enjoying my own music (which people often are) when going to a site. I'm not on your website to listen to music.

why does the text in the menus look so jagged? at least it does on safari on the mac. I'd recommend browsershots.org (scratch that; how would you see the menus "pulled-down?").
Here's a screenshot:

For the map page, check out the google maps API. then you can embed it directly in your page. instead of an iframe tag which you can't rely on. To implement it you add a <script>, create and empty div and then it's just a couple lines of javascript.

Also, i see something about a FREE car but I can't click it. What if I want the free car? Otherwise why does EVERY page have it?

Default Mmhh...

I think it looks oke for the purpose at hand and I always like the 'darkish' websites.

Only thing I really don't like (besides the sound!) is that I have the feeling that I'm always 'scrolling' to get what I want. A little too much I think. Maybe make the image at the top smaller or so...

sharp, clean, and classy but I agree, lose the sound or have it play only for a short period of time, I would go with the growl of the Jag! that would be cool!!

the sonund is very enoying
i sugest that you either

have the sound available but have it default as off and if some one wants the sound they can turn it on themself (this is the way i would go )

remove the sound

or turn it down so that it is barely noticeable

just my 5 cents worth

I like the site. Very sharp to match the cars. I agree, the music is way too loud. I have never been a fan of autoplay music on sites.

Cool Re: Lee Jaguar of Wellesely Site!!! - Please Review -

I think its too loud. I keep my volume the same and the cat is LOUD on my machine. Like I posted before, I don’t care for music that autoplays, but if you are going to have music don’t make it so loud I have to hit the X or turn my volume down. My 2-cents.

I can live with the cat sound.
Once. On the homepage only.
Volume is OK with me.
If I were reviewing the site for the first time, I probably would not even mention the sound (that is good).
