Default www.inthelighturns.com

Our site is http://www.inthelighturns.com We sell Cremation Urns and Keepsakes on-line. I have been trying to find revelent words for the pages, as hypertext and tags are not spidered.

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">

This doctype has been indicated as an improper type. We can't figure out what is correct.

Also, we advertise with Google ad words, Looksmart, ah-ha, and findwhat and have two Inktomi listings, but I think we should go with a Yahoo listing and Overture. What do you think? Thanks for looking around.

My initial reaction was "image overload." My mind's eye would prefer less images so that there is a focal point.

Hi,

I do see that site is trying to convey a positive image of warmth, caring, and respect. I don't think this layout will be very effective for you, there is simply too many images and too many colors vying for attention at the same time.

The presentation could use less products and perhaps sticking to less colors.

Regards,

-Alex

Alex,

We optimized the current photos as much as possible and removed one to add copy. I realised the home page was image overload, but that keeps them looking, only of course if they have high bandwidth and will wait it out.

Thanks,
Sfraser
