Default www.worldfire.com - Our New Tableless Design

Okay...while there is more content to write, and more "snazzing up" to do of the current content, I wanted to get some feedback on the re-design of our web site.

Our firm is focusing on cleaner designs and want to obviously lead by example.

So, please share all critiques, comments, thoughts, and ideas for improvement.

Default NO thoughts?

No feedback from anyone? I give all an opportunity to put me in my place and I get no takers. Guess it's a solid design then.

The idea with header image is great, but the thing which is not making the website appealing is the color scheme and the traditional layout, Being a Website design Company you need to have an appealing look of the layout, Colors should blend and things should be in an innovative way. Other than that, Navigation is really great, simple & user friendly.

Thanks.

Default Qaulity...

Should I make my "portfolio" more pronounced as that is really where we show our "colorful side" to the public.

With our focus being on valid code, accessbility and usability, I didn't want to go over the top with the site.

What are some thoughts to make it stand out? To make it a little unique? Some flash or video content? Ideas, ideas, ideas. Please.

I'm not talking about something colorfull , but the color whatever you are using should feel cool to the eyes, Use only 2 colors from your identity Have some gradients with red and yellow, and add some gray somewhere, make all the links consistent in terms of colors, No need of flash or Video stuff, see the mockup i recently designed you might have some idea from that,

Default Mainly three colors...

Well, I really only used three colors, all from my logo and the only other colors are simply variants of those.

Also the link didn't work.

Wow! I found myself wondering why you even asked for feedback. This site is tight and right! Very nice.

The only thing I see to add, from a quick look, is an email address on the contact-us page. That just seems weird. No form or email address. I would have to send a letter or call?

Great design work!

Maybe play around with something in the lines of a subtly-textured background image to make your content pop more... or at least something other than white. I think the white page background (around the outside of your design) washes the rest of the page out a bit.
