Default Is carsalesasia.com too complicated?

I would really appreciate serious feedback on my latest site http://www.carsalesasia.com

People are not yet using the forums etc as much as on my other sites and according to the logs are not looking around the site much. I am thinking maybe the site is overwhelming or too complicated.

It has multiple themes for users to choose from and will be multi-lingual. The translation to Traditional Chinese is almost finished then I will add Simplified Chinese.

I am thinking to replace the main menu and the sections menu with something more obvious (maybe java script to show what is in each section)

Any constructive critism or suggestions would be very welcome.

Default Very busy...

I would agree with your assessment, it's busy, and your focus on the top half of the page is ads...not information for the visitors.

That's not a good start. From there, you definately have a ton of content, which isn't bad, but it needs to be simplified.

Hmm so maybe the ads should be only on the sides and replace them with something to help users at the top.

I put the ads there to give them the best exposure but I see your point. If they are part of the reason users are not going deeper then they are reducing page views which is not good for the advertisers either.
