Hi Scott
I thought oyur site was clean and professional looking. I like the idea of the site you are working on profiles though you could make this even more interesting by using some scripting to rotate the image so you can profile more of your work. I think you need to do something with your text. If you use some headings and lists instead of blocks of text it will be easier to read and also be more attractive to the search engines. Some testimonials (just a short sentence or so) on each page, especially the home page, would entice me to look further.
Good luck
Janet

hi Scott,
As was said by Janet I Think the idea of having the site under construction area is great and I find the site clean and easy to read with the picture of the opera house and your URL making it obvious where you are located. However as a web designer I would expect to see a little more pazzaz with your site as stated before maybe some pictures rotating or a little flash may help.I know loading speed is an issue, so
maybe an obvious link to a page that can show what you can really do.

Scott,

You have built an attractive site and you seem to have an understanding of search engine positioning. Now spend some time working on your marketing.

Your site copy dwells on you ("we offer" "our hosting plans" "our aim" "we choose" ...).

Don't tell me about you. Tell me about me.

How can you help me improve my advertising? How can you help me make more money? How can I serve my clients better? How can you make my venture onto the Internet low risk? What can you do to help me solve my business problems?

If you want to get (and hold) your clients' attention, focus on them and their problems. You are obviously a good designer and you have a lot to offer your clients. Tell them about the benefits of having a site (direct sales, accessing an expanding market, etc.) and the benefits of having you build it.

If this stuff sounds foreign to you, consider hiring a copywriter to develop the content for your site. Be sure to pick someone who understands search engine positioning.

Good luck with Aus-Designs.

Thanks for the positive feedback..
We only started Aus-Designs.com 2 months ago! Im still struggeling to get our site up there on the search engines.. i know Web Hosting, Web Design searck key words arnt they easiest to get up there!
I have just been playing around with it little bits at a time to see how it goes!
I have sent out numorous amounts of letters to companys all over our state telling them about us and what we have ot offer and price list's etc.. This seems to be the cheapest method and the most effective cause its addressed to that business but that wont last long cause we have send out over 60 letters and got a reply from 3! Only one was sucessful! This was very dissapointing seen we put so much effort into the letter etc..
Im on a very limited budget for advertising..

I have been playing around with the wording on the main page to get it up there on search engines, I will give it a good read an rewrite it and change the site around abit!
Thanks for the feedback and i will let you know when i have updated so you'se can have a quick look again!

Cheers,
Scott
