Default www.shutterific.com

I was hoping I might get some general opinions on this site. It is nearly completed. I thought now would be a good time to see what people think. http://www.shutterific.com

Tested in IE6 56k modem 800x600. Site is a little slow to load particualrly the graphics. Menu graphics could do with some ALT. Otherwise, a very nice design. Good luck with it.

Default Image Quality

Ok, my first reaction was, "What sort of business is this?" I couldn't tell until I started reading all the text underneath, "Shouldn't you be taking photos?" Something like "Professional Photography Management" or "System" would be helpful to keep me on the page.

Next reaction: if this is a site for professional photography, where are the great photos? The image in the top right, while well-conceived, is blurred and grainy. As a photographer, this does not reassure me that you'll take good care of my images.

And finally: this is a photography-oriented site. I want to see LOTS of images on every page. The first one (girl with camera) is outstanding. Keep that feeling going throughout the site! It makes for a consistent message. It's inviting, tells a story, and it loads fast. (yes, what IS 56K ha ha)

I'd like to see an image of a photographer on every page - different people using different cameras. Choose your target market and get an image on there that speaks to them. (Older person with older camera, 12 year old with new digital, wedding photographer taking wedding pictures, etc.)

If you have an opportunity, I'd appreciate a reciprocal review at http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=13691

Thanks.

I will have to put some serious thought into making those suggested changes. Though the photos up top are kind of grainy I had thought most peope would understand why they were that way. Perhaps I should consider doing something different.

There actually are going to be some photos added to the site in the form of a sample gallery just havent gotten that far yet
