Hi Niki,

alright, as for your question about the vids, i think if you keep them frequently updated and they're worth checking out, yes, people will return to view them.

now, about the site;
i dig what you're doing with the handwritten navigation, but you really need to carry that feel thru the content area. You've got a unique navigation system, but the content is super boring. i completely agree with the attempt at keeping it simple, but it's a bit too simple.

Also, your sales copy is LAME. I wouldn't buy that 'paranoid' shirt strictly based on its description! Calling something 'cool' doesn't make it so.

At any rate, you need to gear your presentation to your target audience...i think you're failing at it thus far.

Best of luck!

I agree the navigation is "cool"!

I would try to tie your middle content together better. Just slapping a few images in the middle of the page just is not enough.

Also the home page seems a bit to long to me.

I think the major work needs to come from ading some sales copy to the middle of the page and structuring those images some way better.

Thanks for the feedback Ran!

Can you explain what you mean by content area? Do you mean on the first page or in the description of the goods on the product pages?

Also regarding 'sales copy' have you seen the descriptions of the actual products on that product pages? http://www.blueskin.com/productpages/09_mt_bl.htm
Do you think this needs to be more on the first page?

I am toatlly learning as havent had any training in 'sales' or how to communicate the product to the audience so I really appreciate your honest feedback

Many thanks!
Niki

Thanks Jaan for getting back to me,

I agree that the home page is too long I was thinking of archiving information so that the 'content' or what little there is can still be viewed. As I am a visual person I'm not sure how to communicate 'sales content' without sounding cheesy or pushy so tend to shy away from it. But I agree that it is something that needs to be addressed so I will have a go!

Thanks again for your time and input

Niki :)

navigation is nice, different, content needs to be fixed up, doesnt stand out for me at all, looks like everything was thrown onto the page

i would recommend a bit of colour, something to suit your navigation maybe
