Doesn't look to bad, although when resized to 800x600 (yes, people still have that res.), horizontal scrolling appears and your top menu loses some options.
Your markup is a mess, and has a few validation errors. Also, I can't quite figure out why you bothered using tables...you started out table-less, but there are a few scattered about the code. You're really got too many nested div's too...the purpose of table-less layouts is not to replace tables with just as many (or more) nested divs, but to improve the content:code ratio. Check out some sites like bonrouge, and css zen garden to get a better grasp of CSS layouts. Best of luck! |

I like the design and feel. The "teamheader.gif" is a little distracting. A static phone number might add some simplicity(who do we call).

Would agree about the top banner with it changing almost creates the impression one or the other is at work but not both together. Why not have one picture left and the other right in the top corners? Also only one phone number for the office makes it easier for the site visitor.
I don’t know what reputation estate agents have in Canada but here they are often thought of not being the most honest of businessmen being economical with the truth, a very unfair and unwarranted view to have I know . But I think you may loose “points” advertising a house for sale in 2007 and show pictures of it dated 19/5/2001. See Kelligrews on page 5. Finally having finished reading the details of a property and pressing on the link “Back to Search Results” it takes you back to the 1st page of results. If you are on page 3 or 4 and not noting which one, it is slightly irritating to go back to the beginning and have to work your way back through them all to reach where you were. Having said the above the site is bright and easy on the eye -has the impression of being busy but in a good way - not overcrowded - a successful business. The links I tried all worked. Not a webmaster for sure, hence the numerous tables and div's. I will play around and clean this up.
Good point about the flipping photos and numbers. I was under the impression that it wouldnt matter to people and they'd pick any of the 2...either way it wouldn't matter whom they called. I will look into another graphic solution. The listings are a feed....not all ours so I do not have control over what is put there. i will look into this though. Appreciate the feedback! Steve |
