Default Is this an improvement?

I built this site over a year ago:

http://www.icaptus.com

Recently I've started to do some new designs:

(Warning, huge unsliced image)

http://www.icaptus.com/new/index.html <--- Main page

http://www.icaptus.com/new/level2.html <--- Second level pages

The final product would have a drop down menu and 2 simple flash animations.

Hate the cheesy picture on your new home page. Looks like bad hair day in the office. I see you used the same picture on your current site. Is it your company owners?

I found it hard to tell what it was you were selling on either your current site or the new one. Lots of talk about "maximising employee potential" but very little substance on how you do that and what makes you different to the millions of similar offerings.

I did this in photoshop, I usually do a few more designs but this time the first one looked nice and clean.

I have a few more pictures but at this stage it doesn't really matter.

This site is focused for people who have experience in HR so they'll see right away what it's about but it's true that it lacks the "How it's done".

Good idea...our company has a huge internal HR system. One thing I noticed the old main page rendered effortlessly while the two new ones were choppy.

This is the first I heard of "unsliced image"...what does this mean?
