Top Menu
Font - At the moment we have all in upper case but I don’t like it. Do you like it?

Search Option - I think the text is to small? What is the best words to use in a search box? Ie. Search product, search , search product stock number?

Left Menu
Customer Sign In - Should we make the words “customer sign in” be in the purple like promotion box to get customers attention easily?
I know at the moment we don’t have “Sign up” but should we include a “Why Sign up?” option. The reason I ask is because I believe a lot of people who see “sign up” options, I think don’t like it. We want people to sign up to offer them additional discounts, Loyalty points and bonuses.

Promo Box (Top) This is dynamic so it will only appear when we run a promotion set by the days that we select in our calendar. If there is no promotion set this will not appear.
If we select to make a discount by category the discount will be shown by having the word “Sale” next to that category.
Is the color of the promo box to strong, the size of the box to big, font to large etc…..?

Main Body Text/Product of the Page - Im referring to the text above the products. This will be the same on each page with a little bit of dynamic text which will be taken from our product category.
I think there is too much text at the top of the products? What are your recommendations?

Bottom Menu - We haven’t touched this from our original site so we would appreciate any feedback on views bad/good on how to improve it.

Layout - Negatives and Positives Please?

SEO – The most important to me. Please rip it apart from what you can see and tell me. Its no use having a site that cant be found.

search, not search product code. Wht if I don't know the product code? Just "search". Not too small.

Promo box
don't see it

Main body
use pricing such as $4.99 and $3.99, not $9.04 and not $5.00. Worldwide, people fall for .99 and .95. Come to the USA and notice that petrol is priced at "$3.09 and 9/10ths per gallon". I mean how stupid is 9/10ths of 1 US cent? Don't answer, it was a rhetorical question.
Not too much text for me.

The prices we do usually use 0.95 with all our pricing. All kinds of pricing has gone in whilst we have been testing. this will be getting dumped once we are ready to go live.

The promo box is the big purple box under the customer login area. At this moment of writing the promo reads ""Testing Day Sale"" although this may change as we play around with our promos as they are dynamic and we are still testing.

1 Vote for a lower menu redesign then. Any more?

My eyes went right over the promo box without even noticing it.
Needs to jump out more.

Anyone else comments on the promo box? I thought it stood out but thats probably as I was aware of it.
Since Daves comments I noticed that we didnt state in the box how much discount we were offering so we have since added the discount amount which is currently in red.

Does Red work? Any other comments on the promo boxes and the other above points?
