Hi,
I recently updated my site http://gardenlistings.com with a template which I modified a bit. Some feedback would be great as I'm a landscape designer and new at this. For my next upadte I'm considering Joomla! or some such management system. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. |

Tim,
Contact should have phone and postal contact info. Site looks good overall. Do you really plan on selling stuff to Koreans and Japanese, etc.? If not, then get rid of the pages in those languages. The machine translation is not that good anyway. ,dave

Tim, The site looks great. As an avid gardener I plan to spend lots of time on your site. So far I ran into one awkward navigation sort of problem. I clicked on "store" near the bottom of your home page. That took me to ..com/Garden_Accessories.htm., which has a breakdown of categories and links. When I click on a link such as "Birdbaths" or "Birdfeeders" I end up on a page that starts with books and hammocks and lists all your products.
I'm on my way back to your site to see what I can't live without. Margaret |

Overall I think it's a pretty good site to start with. Sure it has a few spelling errros, I'd urge you to fix and it has sort of small print, which I'd urge you to enlarge, but overall the site is rather impressive especially for someone who is just getting started with a site.
I'd urge you to be very careful with what colors you use and try to stay away from any more green. Afterall sure it's gardening but you can over do anything. Good luck with the site. You'll learn one thing for sure in this business and that is that a website is always a work in progress. |
