Default Please review my website.

Hi,
I have spent about two weeks creating my website. I would like to know if the colors, style, layout etc. needs to be tweaked.

Thanks,

Remkarable for two weeks. What shopping cart software is it? The meta tags are great, a doctype is present, and the footer is informative and not overdone. It'll take some time but it looks like the search engines will eventually pick you up.

I decided to go with PinnacleCart to desing our website. It has great seo features built-in. What is your first impression when you see the website? If you were shopping for ipod or mac accessories would you take our website seriously?

Well, the site looks excellent and credible, but frankly I have no interest in the Ipod. Relative to people that have interest, all you have to do is increase your credbility and your sales will follow. To increase crediblity make contact information extremely each to find. Plaster it everywhere, especially the footer. Put the comany name, telephone, address, mabe even the owners name in as many places as possible while not overdoing it. It takes balance, but in general the more contact information the more credibile!

No phone nor postal contact info in Contact Us.
Goodbye.

Same thing for Privacy Policy.
Goodbye.

I expect to be able to click on the logo in the upper-left corner and go home. Can't. "Studies have shown..." http://psychology.wichita.edu/surl/u...web_object.htm

I think that if you refer to iPod and Mac and Mac OS X that somewhere you need to say: "[registered] trademarks of Apple".

Thanks for the advice Dave. We modified the logo, "contact us", footer, as well as the privacy policy.

If visitors are to start calling the phone number we provided and no one is able to asnwer, will that bring more of a negative reputation than just not having a phone number at all? We will need to generate more sales to afford a 1-800 number. Or do we need to create a 1-800 number to generate more sales? Also we would like to put an emphasis on "emailing us" instead of calling us. Should we explain why on our website?

With your site, I can say you are serious about your business here.
But Frankly your site looks is not much inviting, 1999ish or say 2002ish, it will need improvement to do a good business.
Sorry if I could not reply you in a positive term, but you need to work very differently to attract visitors as well as making them stick to your site. Take some time to make it more attractive and involving. For a two weeks effort it is remarkable.

Just have your contact telephone number your cell phone. This works great for me!

Default Updated the header

Ok, I re-designed the header of our website. How does it look in your browsers?

Thanks,
Jeff S.
