Default NCGOLFERS Complete RE-VAMP,,, fingers crossed, :)

I know i got alot of good comments on the original design, But here goes. I personal think this one is better. If you see any wacko stuff going on in some of the further down pages i'm still working on them.

Remove this: "Built with XHTML 1.0 & CSS". Your CUSTOMERS don't care.

I believe the original design was brown with lighter text?

I have a few issues with this design:

1. I don't like the brown on the sides -- it just doesn't seem to belong. It might work better if you used some ligh tan or brown shading on your headings or division backgrounds however.....

2. In your center column you have your Welcome image, and then below that your entire paragraph is in an h3 tag. I don't believe that this is proper usage of a h3 tag. I'm sure you are doing it for the search engines because they give more weight to text in heading tags, but this could backfire on you in the long run. I would get rid of the Welcome image, create a meaningful heading, and put the rest in a paragraph.

3. Fixed width -- go with a "liquid" layout if you can.

4. I started looking deeper into the site -- but I know that you are still working on these pages, but I did notice that your main content on the NC Golf Courses page was also wrapped in a h3 tag.

I don't know what tool you used to make this site, but you have some really great css layout work in there. Using floats too. I usually go with absolute/relative positioning myself.

Great work!

On the interior pages regarding golf courses, the text inside the Rate Course, Course Rates and NC Golfers Course Review is extremely hard to read on the brown background. Use a lighter font, or ditch the brown background in those content boxes - that color is kind of... icky.
