Default Please review my site prior to a long overdue rebuild

OH MARTHA, THIS IN GONNA HURT!

I probably shouldn't even risk this but I need lots-o-help! My site, www.osgfx.com, is an incomplete monster I put up a few years back.

I know I need to rebuild it or at least complete the links and add lots of pages I haven't built yet.

Right now the only link on the home page that works is the Event Photography link. There are lots of working links on that page.

What I would like to do is finish making it an active sales tool for people who purchase graphics. I am nearing retirement and need to get going on this so I can build traffic while I still have a full time job.

So, let me have it, what are your recommendations?

Scott,

1. The link in the second paragraph is broken as you have the comma in the link.

2. Why do you use an image for your words on the Event Photography page instead of text? Images are more difficult to read than text. Images are much difficult to change. Search engines don't see (i.e., index) images.

3. I think the colors are way too bright.

4. A search engine spider simulator had this to say about your website:
Quote:
Preview of your search engine listing:

OOPS, no title!
OOPS, no META description!
Keywords used in your META tags:
OOPS, no META keywords!

Spider View of

Note that search engines are blind to images. We replaced these with 'placeholders' to make clear that images won't help make clear what your page is about

Default Thanks Dave

#1 Point
I don't think I have a link in the second paragraph.
#2 Point
As a confirmed Rookie, I don't know how to get text on top of an image but I sure would like to change that. You're absolutely right, editing the copy is a pain.
#3 Point
Are the colors too bright as a personal preference or because of the way browsers view them?
#4 Point
Is there someplace I can download a search engine spider simulator?

I have added titles now.

Did you look at the Event Photos images?

Can you direct me to a way to do large galleries that is more search engine/spider friendly.

Do my pages take too long to load as a result of a full background image?

Thanks for your help!

2nd paragraph

"I probably shouldn't even risk this but I need lots-o-help! My site, www.osgfx.com, is an incomplete monster I put up a few years back."

You have the link containing the comma.

No. Don't care about images. Looking at overall website.
