A little boring in look.
Otherwise, quite nice.
Easy navigation and good content.

Ya .. I've heard the little boring comment before.. I was looking to do more content and less "Glam" on the site. I am trying to provide information and currently do not sell anything on the site. I got tired of all my old favorite sites going from free info to pay for everything and thought it would be nice to have a location where people could learn stuff and get info for free.

Even though there isn't a lot of visual appeal, I don't think it's boring. I just think the layout needs a little help. If you dropped the Home Link and Subject title directly below the Masthead Rule, you could move the Boldface 'Welcome To ...' Title directly under the rule.
Next, reduce the amount of space between the Welcome To and the 'Here you will find' description by about half.
Place your numbered list in 2 or 3 columns directly beneath Here you will find. Move the Sub Title up reasonably tight beneath the Numbered List (which I'm not sure you need at all), and the Scroll Box up too. Add a text indent to the text in the Scroll Box and a Gold/Bronze border about 3 pixels and call it good.
This will clean up and tighten up your layout making it more inviting without adding a lot of graphics or other 'pretty stuff' that you don't need.

Your site has great information, but I'm not sure if I would find it without knowing programmer vault. You need to optimize your keywords.

It could use a better design.

Your site's header is disconnected from the site's body.

Most readers will view this as an ad and not consider it as a relevent part of your site.
