Hate it.

But, then I hate any website that has a black background.

I am also way "out of the demo".

Cool graphics for this type of web site. Does anyone still use dial-up. If so, it loads a little slow just like my site. You might try just the header with solid black from there down the page. The black is fine. On your News page, you ought to have links to 1 minute audio clips so we can become at least a little familiar with the genre of music the bands play. On the bands list page, links to their sites. Good start but music needs to be heard not just read. I guess yours is just the opposite of some music sites where you can't get any information on the bands. Go back to the mixing board and beef up the bottom, make the highs brilliant and the middle saturated. It'll fly! Good start!

The dark background goes well with the product you're selling. I mean, you wouldn't put a dark background on a baby supply or a book supply web site. (I'd hate to see what Dave thinks about my website once I put it in production...:)

I like the graphics...I agree about the flash -- it might prove too slow for dial up.

Love it! Although I'm probably a few thousand years over the target demo... but then again, Keith Richards will be 63 in 13 days.

The graphics are intense and emotional, the content is tight and grabs you. I really like the way you've integrated the third party forum into your site's overall presence.

At the risk of sounding cheezy and cliched... this site ROCKS... best of luck.

Default How about this...

I like the design - I appreciate the time it would take to build this. The problem you will have is that from an SEO perspective this site will just not index well (although please prove me wrong!):

You should use div tags instead of frames/ iframes. If you make these fixed width it wont scroll sideways on increasing the text size.

When I view the site without styles I loose half the right hand menu content - this seems to be dynamic content so its important search engines can read this. I’m not sure they can at the minute (I cant even select the content with my mouse).

Use alt tags on the images!

Add HTML menu links at the bottom of the page this will also help with SEO.

Try and tailor each page with keyword and description tags.

sounding like a bore now ... The banner fills up all my screen - I have to scroll down to get to the content every-time. Perhaps use the full size image on the splash page and then use narrow banners with a small image on successive pages?

Colours, layout, style - love it!
Hope this will be of some help...
