Default Site for review - www.ybdigitals.com

Hello
I am a photographer having migrated toward the digital space and finally I got that 'site' up and running. http://www.ybdigitals.com
I know nothing's perfect but:
Art is not easy to transpose onto the Internet. Colors are scaled down as well as dimensions. In my case, as I produce very large photographic pieces, the Internet does not represent very well the dimensional aspect of it. Anyway the site is up and I really would appreciate your comments on its usability, if it makes sense etc. Well you know!
Thank you very much
Yves

Hi Yves,

You have alot of great work on your site.

I would try to keep your navigation consistant on all your pages. If someone wants to go to another area - they only have the choice to go Home then to the area they want.
I would also have a text navigation in your footer. This will help you when search engines spider your site.
Instead of using Front Pages default graphics you can check this out for menus:

Your background images sometimes gets in the way of your text/graphics. Is it your logo? If so I suggest that you just have it once in your upper left corner along with your title tag. They try just using a plain green background.
This site is good for picking color schemes:

Your title tag needs more descriptive words about your site. Right now it is just ybdigital.com
The title tag is very important to search engines.
This will give you a cleaner look.

Clicking on the guestbook page - you loose all navigation.

Also your buttons on the left have the airplane on them. When I first look at the site i get a "travel" feel to it. The green, the plane, the background kinda looks like postage stamp.

Post back when you make changes! :)

.Danielle.
