| Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate. |

Thanks in advance!
Our site is struggling to convert visits to sales. Am I missing something important? Does the site appear stable and trustworthy? Is placing an order not intuitive enough? It is a fairly new company (a little over 1 year old now)- could that be the invisible hurdle? Here is a link to the site: http://www.rocketcityhosting.com Thanks again. (Oh, and don't be afraid to be brutally honest- that could possibly be a great help in fact!) Nathan

1. a1-appliance.com is a great site. I spent $30 on it and saved $2000. Did not have to replace my oven/microwave.
2. Rocket City: a. Hate Flash menus. b. Click on Support and the look is totally different. c. Click on Community and the look... d. Click Services and the look... 3. Your prices are too low. Quality of service at these too low prices has to be lousy. Don't argue, just raise your prices. ,dave

I was also in your camp concerning flash menus but it turns out I am in the minority among owners. I'll have to live with it unless the negative feedback gets heavy. Points 2:b-d are also matters of concern but I'm not sure how to approach a solution without a complete redesign. I've definitely already started looking into possible congruity solutions. Point 3 was the shocker for me! We've done cost analysis to make sure we are not shooting ourselves in the foot here but from a completely different angle (our thoughts were more like "how low can we go and still survive?"). But you are saying that offering "budget hosting" is actually counter productive when viewed through the eyes of a potential "large" customer (like someone looking for a dedicated server or colocation or a place to park their rack). This is something that had never entered my mind at all! I think I may contact a few of our larger customers and ask about this- was this something they had to consciously overlook? I wonder how many other sites looking for review have considered premiere pricing a benefit as opposed to a liability? It's definitely not an intuitive approach (from the seller's standpoint). Thanks again! (Next time you need an appliance part call and ask for me.) Nathan
