Default The Markstar Group wants your opinion!

Hey,

Please check out the website located here:

http://208.70.166.193/

I used a CSS layout and came up with all the design concepts myself. Please let me know what you think. I need to know about functionality, accessibility, ease of use, etc. Any feedback will be appreciated!

Thanks

It's a bit different ...right up until you read the filler content. Recommended: A copywriter.

Default IS THERE A FREE LUNCH AT WPW?

Only one post?

I have more than 1500 post's and wanted feedback on a site.

No comment, nor on the site in the Graphics & Design Discussion Forum.

I may comment on and index your site when you have at least 100 meaningful posts.

wpwBOT index this site with wpwRank -100 that increases to 0 with 100 meaningful posts :-)

Oh you don't have to worry, I've already got some reviews. But thanks for your input. :)

Your grass will never be green worrying about what colors someone else's is.

Ok, you saw my vote:

1. Positive:

The site is XHTML 1.0 valid.

2. Negative:

I would not use your service, since the only contact information is:

info At markstargroup dot com

That should also idellay be given in a form.

The "about the company" is unprofessional.

The menus at the top are not good.

Fix these things and we see if you come back.

What do you mean by "the menus at the top are not good"? I appreciate your feedback, its just that most of what you said is kind of general, unsubstantial, and doesn't really offer any type of alternative.

I would greatly appreciate it if you can explain WHY you think the "about the company" is unprofessional, and why you think the menus at the top arent good.

I was thinking of changing the menu into CSS instead of using an "image" to display the menu text. Would that be better?

I think CSS should be better.

The menu could be better in my view. And some times the fields of the menu are white other times grey. There is not consistency while I move the mouse.

Company and about us info: Physical location with picture if possible. Telephone numbers. The more info, the better. Look at well known sites for examples. It should also be possible to confrim your physical location with geolocation. Start here: http://www.dnsstuff.com/ You find a lot of good links to ohter resources on that site.

Where is your sitemap?

My advice:
Look through some site reviews in this subforum and you may learn a lot.

Thanks for the information and thank you for being polite and respectful about it. I will look over the other site reviews and take some notes.
