Default Problems with HTML & lookin for reviews on my websi

Hi I am presently making up a website (or trying to) with a company called Sitesell & I am attemting to add a few HTML tags to it .

As some of you may know it is a fairly basic & straightforward website aimed at providing information to the general public BUT also to provide the owner of the website with income .

One of the points we were told whist going through was that the general public is after information & not a fancy looking website .

As far as the HTML tags are concerned I would like to know the tag/code for putting spaces (of variying lenths between sentences .

.eg – Craigs Adventures.....space .....3333 Craig ave......space.....1 250 555 6666..... space..... http://www.- - - - - -

Also I would like to ask you all for your opinions of my website (so far) – eye appeal , content etc. at the same time please keep in mind the type & goal of it.

Thanks Craig My website is at - http://www.victoria-bc-canada-guide.com

I looked through your site. To get the spacing correct you should use css <ul> and[*] to get the lists to line up. Here is a site that can help you:

http://css.maxdesign.com.au/listamatic/

I found some other problems:

On the attractions page, the page title is <H3><U>Attractions</U></H3>. You need to remove the html. It should be <title>Attractions</title>.

Some content is underlined but not clickable, it is not a link. On the internet, links are underlined. It makes your site confusing for users.

I found this paragraph:

Quote:
Victoria is a very family oriented city , For couples or individuals , whatever group you fall into you will love Victoria the people ,the surrounding area and you will likely return many times .
Why is there extra space between the periods, commas, etc.? Also the F is capitalized in For. You will need to fix these typos.

If you are just starting off with web design, Prioritizing Web Usability is an essential read to learn how to create professional websites.

I understand you want to provide information about BC, but how will you make money from it? Who are you competitors? How will you generate site traffic? How will you convert that traffic to money?
