GoldenTiger,

First, you should validate your code:

http://validator.w3.org/check?verbos...y.125mb.com%2F

It will help the site work better.

Also I need to scroll down a lot to get to the meat of the page. You should try to reduce the size of the header elements to pull more content up. Like make your logo smaller then put the YPN ads next to the logo on the same line. Look at Amazon how you can see the products because the header is not too tall. Try to do that.

You should also remove the horizontally scrolling text and rotating globe. Most website users do not like animated gifs, and might think is not professionally designed.

Good luck!

your LOGO and text are too big, its much better if it is just in the normal size ... and check how it looks in different browser in different resolution using browsercam.com ...

its better if you have your site in that 3 column layout ... too much blue ...

A simple advice: If it is more important, make it larger. If it is less important, minimize it.

Example: You have two suggestions ('Set homepage' and 'Bookmark this page') that in my opinion are quite secondary in importance. Both are easily available in any browser, and most people know how to do it; I would minimize them (or omit them both).

A general advice: The more options you offer, the less attention each is given. After a certain amount of possibilities, more is less...

Golden Tiger,

When I open your site, I'll I see is ads. Check out this screen shot:

You need to format your page so it is showing content and ads to get better conversions.

Keep working at it!

thank you so much for jeffposaka and Mads Dam for your tips.

i'm in a way to improve the site and follow your tips and technics, but the ads that above the header is not mine ,because my site is free hosting so that they put the ads above the header of my pages.

That's too bad about the header. Can you do these two things:

1. Make links underlined. More people will click.
2. Remove bottom logo. Takes more time for the page to load. Use text links instead of site logo in the footer.
3. Change logo at top (rotating globe) to a not rotating globe. Some people do not like animation.

These are just my ideas...

Good luck!

I agree with jeffposaka, get rid of the rotating globe. Unless its a very high quality image, it only makes your site less professional. Lose the scrolling text while you're at it. Another bit of advice would be to change the blue background. As long as your front page is, I feel like I'm lost at sea. (And the color is a little boring.)

Default Some further advice...

Make your title visible: "Scripts city" is almost invisible.

Consider a title as text, not graphics. Search engines still can't read images.

Because of 'free hosting' your site actually pays a high prize: the most important part of your startpage is already occupied by other peoples commercials. Consider buying your own domainname, and pay a few dollars each month for hosting. If you invest much time in building your site, why save pennies when it come to presenting the result..?

In any case, good luck!

PS: Remember to check your links, verify your html, and do you have a favicon? Se my suggestions to this and more at: http://www.mads-dam-larsen.dk/links/...h.htm#Internet
