Default Nice Caps

Marc,

nice caps. If you're competitive, putting the prices up front is a good move.

Default web review

something about it doesn't feel professional. Professional stores that I instinctivly trust have a certain feel to them, even if they're playful they look like someone put lots of money into making it just so. In ie 6 win xp the menu background is inconsistent and the background shows through on the content. These amy be intentional, but it feels wrong to me.

I do like the bulleted list (font seems big to me). It makes me trust the site and makes me think you sell quality products. It makes me want to check a competitors site to see if they make the same claims.

Thanks tanmonkey,

Unfortunately at this time money is tight to get a professionally done website.

This is on the job training right from an amateur.

on the front page (or anywhere I looked) If you click on "choose hat style" you go to another page where the same option of choosing a hat style is offered (large print)

It would seem that to choose a style you need to go to the left sidebar - where there are options

'About Us Color Swatches Font Options FAQ Help
Photo Gallery '

So If you click on 'color swatches' you get an array of colors thast are un- clickable - and the option at the bottom of the page to continue.

This seems to send the user around in circles.

If when you are totally confused you attempt the 'HELP' It does not attempt to solve any problems a user might have in buying the product. . It simply describes parts of the hat.

This site Is very confusing and I gave up trying to find out how your payment system worked. Or even how to select a hat. .

So . . If I decide to email you to find out details. I have to fill out a form - this is not so bad as the form seems to accept messages with just the word test in every box - or nothing in the box. . But it does not confirm that the email has been sent.
It does not reassure me that If I did place my email address in the box that I would not automatically be sighning up for email adverts for the next five years.

If I wanted to buy some hats mpossoff. the site would not let me.

I think the site needs to be optimised for buyers.
It is looking good. . But buyers need to be looked after.

Thanks Tubby,

OK I fixed the "choose hat style" image link. It wasn't suppose to be a link.

My real purpose is to create a custom cap site that is different from the norm.

What Do I mean? I don't just sell embroidered caps with a logo on the front of the cap.

I sell a fully embroidered cap with all options included.

Why just have a cap with a logo on the front when you can have your logo on the front as well as your phone number nicely embroidered on the side or back? How about your slogan nicely embroidered on the visor of the cap?

In other words I want to work with people NOT to have an ordinary cap but a cap that is fully decorated that makes it a cap to be proud of. A cap that people will say WOW!

I have done many of these caps in my local and metro market offline as you see in picture gallery. And my clients were extremely suprised that they could get a cap with that magnitude at the pricing I offer.

So many clients purchase caps with a logo on the front, boring.

Sorry for the longwinded explanantion.

So my purpose again is to work with clients one on one to develop a knock out cap. So I don't want my website to be a self serving "store" where a client can order right online because of my product uniqueness it would be hard because of the many options I offer to make your cap unique.

Those color swatches, help link are only referances of specific the specific color available for the cap itself and embroidery colors. The help section is only a referance on the options that are available to make your cap unique. In other words in the help section, which I assume I should change the link name, ALL those options are available to you and it's included in price so why don't I help you design a cap that includes most of the options to make it unique?

Any more comments would be deeply appreciated.

Marc

mpossoff Yes I understand what you are trying to do. But for example If I went to your site with my logo. . If I tried to order some hats. . I would not be able to do it.

Other users might well be smarter than me. But I tried and failed.
